PETA Uses Wrong Equation

Pamela Anderson: Advocate for Animal Rights
I chanced upon this article yesterday dated June 29th 2006. The gist of the story revolve around celebrity star Pamela Anderson stripping down to her panties to protest against the use of fur. There is no need for me to add a link, just google ' Pamela Anderson Strips PETA ' and there would be more than 200,000 results. Be careful not to omit the word ' PETA ' or you'll probably get twice as many generated results - BUT for a totally Different ... ahem (* clears throat*)... Article.
-------
Who else thinks that this " We'd Rather Bare Skin Than Wear Skin " campaign is destined to fail? Seeing that this happened about a month ago, I'm quite relieved that all furred animals have not gone extinct.
-------
I do not know how ladies will respond to this campaign but I will show you the thought process for - FD dare say - most of the guys.
Buy Fur = NAKED Protest
Stop Using Fur = NO more NAKED Protest
Kill More Furry Animals = See MORE NAKED Protest
CONCLUSION? KiLL Animals = NAKED Women!
-------
I would seriously urge PETA* to reconsider this way of bringing their message across.

*PETA = People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals

I agree I think the campaign is rather bimbo-style, it makes it seem as if showing off new implant jobs is more important than carrying across the message. Why don't they just dress in alternative stuff such as satin or velvet, to prove that a woman can look better in things other than fur?
